JULY 24, 2023 Monday -- marked Dear Self Aesthetics and Wellness Center's 3rd Anniversary and Thanksgiving Concert celebrated at Elements, Centris, Quezon City. I usually dread Mondays but this one is unforgettable as it is filled with gratefulness, joy, and one-of-a-kind performances from respected artists. I am truly happy to witness this successful event!

Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center started three years ago when it was still the peak of pandemic. But despite the challenges, their willpower and trust in God greatly helped them to push through. And now, here they are, flourishing with nine (9) branches within Metro Manila, and hopefully more in the coming months! There is really a lot to be thankful for as what Madam Krystal Tecson- Garalde, CEO of Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center said in an after event interview:
This event is not just to celebrate Dear Self’s success, but more of, us, giving thanks to everyone who has been an instrument to this success- our employees, our investors, our partners, family, and closed friends

More than making people look good, what I admire the most with Dear Self is their advocacy of SELF-LOVE. It is with self-love that taking care of oneself comes in. It is with self-love that we become more aware of our own worth. And it is with self-love that we are able to love others more. From the name of the brand itself -- Dear Self -- it is evident how this company values this very important virtue that most people tend to forget. And so as part of the event, Dear Self also celebrated the International Self-Care Day -- an annual reminder to prioritize self-care and to bring awareness on the benefits that effective self-care can bring to both individuals and healthcare systems as a vital foundation of health. Madam Tecson-Garalde stated in her heart-warming opening message:
Self, you must remember the importance of loving yourself, embracing your imperfections, accepting your flaws, and turning them into opportunities to be a better version of yourself are the greatest gift you can give not only to yourself but to a hundred more people around you
The Thanksgiving Concert
Opening the performances with sultry and explosive energy were Showtime dancers Boom Boom Neri, Grace Abina, and Amina Magat.

The audience were then serenaded by Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 1’s grand finalist and Star Music Artist Mr. Lucky Robles.

Ms. Pinky Marquez -- TV and movie actress, singer, and theatre idol -- brought the crowd to Broadway with her amazing timeless voice.

Tawag ng Tanghalan’s newest judge and our country’s Stellar Diva Ms. Bituin Escalante brought the house down and left everyone in awe with her soaring powerful voice.

The most-awaited finale performance was from Mr. Ebe Dancel who is one of the country’s music icon, singer and composer. I am personally a fan of Sir Ebe's voice, music, and talent from way back 20 years ago up to the present. It was such a memorable way to cap the concert with his genuinely Pinoy music.

Of Gratitude and New Beginnings
A company like this won't be successful without the dedication of the employees to work hard and provide better service. And so it is just rightful that an awarding ceremony was also held to recognize the loyal employees of Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center. Ms. Vivien Tecson- Cadivida, COO of Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center mentioned in her parting speech:

Pink represents the brand's color, but they also chose this as the theme for the event to denote renewal and new beginnings as in Japan's Hanami Festival. To sum up what Mr. Ric Abasola, Dear Self’s Brand Ambassador, Marketing Consultant mentioned:
We chose to have this theme because just like the meaning of Japan’s Hanami Festival, Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center is now on another milestone where it can already stand on its own, operate well with all the trainings and the constant education, unti-unti rin nakikilala na sa aesthetic and wellness industry, so indeed a new beginning for the brand
