Every start of the year reminds us of new opportunities, hope, and a chance to do things better. 2020 was no different. However, the year didn't start well with Taal Volcano eruption. After years of being inactive, it chose the year of 2020 to flare up. We thought it was just a one-time calamity, but it was followed by several crises all over the world. Wildfires, earthquakes, super typhoons, floods -- our hopes started crushing and we doubted if this will still be a good year. Then Corona Virus happened. It caused a lot of people to lose their jobs, to lose their family and loved ones. It drastically changed the way we live our lives.
Now that we're at the end of the year, it's time to put all those frustrations, sadness, anger, and other negatives vibes that 2020 brought us to an end. Kenny Rogers Roasters thought of a creative way of doing it through #ROAST2020!
On December 29, a 2020-shaped meat was skewered and set on fire -- broadcasted LIVE through Kenny Rogers Roasters Philippines Facebook Page. Along with this, those who let out and shared their feelings for 2020 through comments received treats from Kenny Rogers.
