October has been a busy yet successful month for Avon Philippines as they launched three (3) main events under the BOOBwatch campaign that educated the public about early detection of breast cancer, and raised funds for Philippine Cancer Society.
BOOB Talk: Online Chikahan
Over 6,200 viewed the BOOB Talk : Online Chikahan with Dr. Gia Sison, Dr. Rachel Rosario of the Philippine Cancer Society, Avon Ambassador Daniel Matsunaga, TV host and News Anchor Dianne Medina and host Myrza Sison last October 10, 2020. It tackled various topics about breast care, and how Franz Tolentino, a breast cancer survivor and active Avon representative, fought the Big C. She suggested joining support groups such as Avon-PGH Breast Cancer Group to be able to share or talk to some people who underwent/are undergoing the same situation.
Shaped for More with Morissette: The BOOBwatch Fundraising Concert
Benefit concerts are still in! And with one of Philippines' top female singers, Morissette Amon, no wonder why over 5,700 tuned in to the fundraising concert streamed via Facebook. Morissette expressed her support to the cause, her belief in the Breast Care Promise, and how important prevention is.
#JoinTheBoobment Manoeuvres Fitness Dance-a-thon
Completely being bias with dancing, this lively and energetic dance-a-thon was my favorite among the events! It was a one-and-a-half-hour series of routines from the 70s up to the present. It was so fun dancing with Manoeuvres James Gaddi and the Zamora brothers Jason and James.

The BOOBwatch Breast Cancer Awareness Month events have ended but you can still provide support through the following:
