And just like that, we bid farewell to half of 2019. But Max's Restaurant is entering the next half of the year with a celebration of the National Fried Chicken Weekend, lots of promos, and a classic Filipino snack added in the menu!

Rainy days are here -- the perfect time to go for something warm and comforting. I remember craving for Batangas Lomi before but none was accessible. Such a delight when I learned that starting July 01, 2019, Max's Restaurant is having Chicken Lomi in their menu!
I wouldn't compare Batangas Lomi with Max's Chicken Lomi because they are different things. But there are a lot of factors that made me love Max's version of lomi. For one, it is loaded with chicken meat, chicken liver, chicken balls, and topped with crispy chicken skin. Two, for Php160 and seeing the bowl size, you might think it is just enough for one. But it took time for me to finish as it is really filling and heavy on the stomach that thinking about it, I should have shared it. Three, they'll give you calamansi, red chili, and diced onions to adjust the flavor to your liking, but I didn't feel the need to do so as it is flavorful enough with its thick broth and egg noodles.
