Tim Hortons: Milk Tea and Customized Sandwich!

Tim Hortons has joined the Filipino craze of milk tea love, thus coming up with their very own Tim Hortons Milk Tea! This is offered in selected branches only, one of these is in Tim Hortons SLC Building Makati where I got to try it.

Tim Hortons Milk Tea

Tim Hortons Milk Tea is made from their signature brewed black tea, vanilla base, and sugar. Their version makes use of coffee jelly instead of the usual black pearl. You can customize it by adjusting the sugar level, adding a shot of caramel or hazelnut (additional Php20).

My take on Tim Hortons Milk Tea... well, for the first sip, I really felt the sweetness! I like my drink to be sweet, but this one really is. Good thing sugar level can be adjusted so I'll take note of that the next time I order it again. I like the creaminess and with the flavor, coffee jelly matches it well. I usually go for black pearls, but I didn't mind having coffee jelly for this one as it complemented the drink well. As for the tea taste, it was tamed by the amount of vanilla and sugar but I still felt its caffeine strength (felt my acid reflux right after.. haha!). Will still give this a go for a different take on milk tea, just way less sugar.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap is one of my favorites, but I recently discovered their Artisan Grilled Cheese. It is so satisfying with its crunchy outer layer made obvious by the grill marks, and the melted cheese! But do you know that you can further customize your grilled cheese or bagel?

Add ham for Php35
Add bacon, pepperoni, steak, or chicken strips (grilled or crispy) for Php50
Add cream cheese for Php25
Add mozzarella, American cheese, or cheddar cheese for Php15
Add lettuce, tomato, or onion for Php15
Extra honey for Php10
Extra garlic mayo, chipotle, or ranch for Php25

For my Artisan Grilled Cheese, I added ham, bacon, and mozzarella, and I've never been more satisfied.
