Repertory Philippines (REP) Teens Masterclass stars will be back on stage this September 01, 2018 3PM at Circuit Makati for the re-run of My Suite Princess.

As part of community outreach program, REP partners again with Ayala Land to provide FREE live theater show to indigent children and families -- made possible by grants from one of the members of the Barredo Family and Professor Nelia Sarcol of CIE (Centre for International Education).

My Suite Princess was first played on stage last June 16, 2018 at OnStage Theater, Greenbelt 1 as the culminating showcase of REP Workshop for Performing Arts 2018 - Junior Master Class. These young actors exceeded my expectations in putting into life this brand-new musical directed by Joel Trinidad and Nicky Trivino. Behind the scenes are Onyl Torres for musical direction, Rony Fortich for music, and PJ Rebullida for choreography. 

Darren Vasquez as Jack 

Light, romantic, and overall feel-good, this old-style play takes place at The Argent Hotel, year 1955. Mistaken identities starting with Lily (Michelle Cornejo), the new chambermaid, pretending to be the princess, and Jack (Darren Vasquez), a photographer, thought to be the hotel manager.

Chaos and silly situations brought laughter to the audience, balanced my singing and dancing in between. But where is the real Princess Tatiana (Regine Torres) and her necklace that the thieves have been planning to steal? When and how will Lily and Jack reveal their real identities? .. Or will they?

Congratulations to all the students! 

These teen actors have gone a long way and will continue to hone their talents to improve more. Being part of REP's community outreach program and being able to inspire young individuals, especially the less privileged ones, is a priceless reward these actors will carry in their hearts. This program will cultivate interest in the art of stage play and encourage everyone, regardless of social status, to explore the beauty of this art form.
