Book & Borders Cafe Grand Opening |
November 26, 2016 marked
Book & Borders Cafe's Grand Opening of its
Eastwood branch. This is the
third branch after establishing
Tuscany, McKinley Hill, Taguig and
Tomas Morato, Quezon City branches. The place is strategically chosen to provide nearby residents, office workers, mall goers, and even students a venue to
relax and
unwind. This is also a perfect place to
read and study as the cafe offers books to read through while you enjoy a
hearty meal with your family or friends.

The grand opening program started with a

Aside from Karylle, singers Keiko Necesario, Carlo Orosa, Gio Levy, Bullet Dumas, and Christian Bautista kept the night alive through special performances.

But of course, live music was paired with
special dishes carefully chosen for this celebration. Displays include
hot chocolate,
coffee,
frappe,
cakes and
pastries, as well as
rice meals.

Cakes |
Not in the display but I was able to try their
Chocolate Cake and
Red Velvet. Both are
moist and
not too sweet. I like the
Chocolate Cake more for that
rich chocolate cream topping.

Pork Ssokugie with Kimchi Rice (Php 250) |
I think it was
Chicken Teriyaki that I've tried instead of this
Pork Ssokugie. Chicken was
tender and
flavorful! Having these meals sets them apart from your usual cafe or coffee shop.

I also get to try their

Book & Borders Cafe just proved that a
relaxing and
comfortable coffee shop ambiance can have a lot more -- more than coffees, teas, and pastries! That hobbies such as reading can be integrated to it. That all-day breakfast, rice meals, pasta, sandwiches, and more can be enjoyed with your loved ones in this kind of setup.
