It used to be Sizzlin' Pepper Steak but was often confused with another restaurant offering the same rice-and-meat-on-sizzling-plate dishes and has "pepper" on its name as well. So drop the "pepper" and we have Sizzlin' Steak!

I love the Chili Con Carne Dip with Nachos! It's a simple appetizer but the overwhelming cheesy-ness balanced by the chili con carne was so addicting.

You can order their Burger Steak a la carte or as a set where you can pick your sauce, rice, or veggies. It's thick and juicy which I enjoyed as well.

Sizzlin' Beef Spanish Rice is the newest dish launched last week of April and will be available until June 10 (or depends on customers' response). It is really the rice that made the difference. It is often associated with paella due to the tomato flavor, chorizo, etc but they are still different. Unlike paella that has thicker consistency and usually has more ingredients, the Spanish Rice is more of a fried rice with flavor. It tends to be oily and so I like that it has egg on it to balance. It's flavorful and can be enjoyed on its own as it has chorizo.

What's best to pair with the sizzling dishes? Rootbeer Float! (especially I don't know where else to buy it since A&W)
Everything was good and I especially loved the appetizer. The Spanish Rice is something new so go try it out. Of course the all-time favorites such as Beef Rice, Burger Steak, and Beef Curry Rice are always available.
