I originally bought this not as a Parent's Day present, but as a Birthday gift. However, upon calling the branch, I was informed that reservation must be done at least 3 days prior to claiming as the cakes are made-to-order. As such, it would no longer be on time for the birthday celebration and so I just opted to have it as a family treat.

I chose Mango Delight because I like cakes with fruits, oh well, and I just love mango cakes! The cake may appear small in the picture but it is really more than enough for a family. It is 9 inches in diameter, 2.5 inches in height, and can be divided into 16 slices.

The first thing I noticed was... "where are the black-dot toppings (as seen on the original picture)?". I'm not sure what they are or if they would even affect the taste, but I hope they're just for garnishing. :)

"Juicy chunks of mangoes come together with home-cook mangoes puree and fresh cream to make this a truly wonderful treat."
Indeed, the top was mango puree while the sides were covered with white cream. Inside were layers of moist chiffon, sliced mangoes and cream. It is light yet rich, while the sweet-sour taste of mango blended well with cream. It is such a refreshing treat to the palate!

I have tried Secret Recipe's cheesecake before and it was a "winner!". This time, it didn't disappoint me and I even feel lucky to experience their Cream Cake at half the price! My whole family loves it!
