REVIEW: Cheesecake, etc.: P495 Any Whole 8-inch Cake (P995 Value) from MetroDeal!

I love cheesecake! And so when I saw this from MetroDeal, my eyes just twinkled then I found myself buying this deal.

I bought this some months ago but I just cant find the perfect time to actually claim it. Validity ends November 30. Since it is a day before our 8th Monthsary, how about converting it to a Monthsary Cake!

Low Fat White Chocolate Pistachio Cheesecake

Our first choice was the Cashew Dome Cake but unfortunately, we were informed that during these times when it is nearing Christmas, they are replacing the Cashew Dome Cake with Christmas Dome Cake (not included in the deal). My next personal choice is the White Chocolate Pistachio Cheesecake as I find it something unusual.

"Fresh whole pistachios crumbled and enveloped in white chocolate cheesecake mousse. A ribbon of pistachio mousse heightens this impeccable low fat dessert."

Pistachio is not my favorite but flavor-wise, it was really interesting how it blended well with white chocolate and cheesecake. Additionally, pistachio bits just added texture and contrast to the smooth cheesecake consistency. I also noticed that the cake was divided into layers: top - greenish is the pistachio part, while the bottom - white is, of course, the white chocolate; last is the crust which is crushed graham crackers.

The cheesecake texture was not too soft, nor too filled. It was just right. And though comparable to a pistachio ice cream, its cheesecake twist was perfect. Knowing it's low fat just makes it guilt-free!
