REVIEW: Soiree Salon & Spa: P299 Thermal Keratin Treatment (P1200 Value) from Ensogo!

I had hair color rebonding eight months ago (December 2010) and since then, I haven't done any hair treatment. Good thing my boyfriend bought this voucher to me as a gift. Reading from the Ensogo site, here are the possible effects and some details regarding Thermal Keratin Treatment:
- Restore your hair’s natural sheen strand by strand with a Thermal Keratin treatment at Soirée Salon.
- The Thermal Keratin treatment works by hydrating dry and damaged hair and restoring its healthy look, making hair smooth, shiny and conditioned.
- The Keratin treatment does not do any chemical restructuring to the hair; it simply penetrates the hair to repair any internal damage and coats the hair to prevent further damage.
- This treatment is perfect for chemically-damaged hair, i.e., bleached, colored, permed or relaxed hair.
- This is not a permanent treatment, but the more you get the treatment, the better your hair will be.
Soiree Salon is located in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. I had the reservation at 3PM but due to an earlier event, we arrived at the venue around 4PM. Gladly, they still accommodated me.
*The Treatment*
It started with hair shampooing. I think they are using Schwarzkopf products. Then Keratin was applied to my hair, massaging my scalp. The stylist keeps on saying that my hair has so many tangles. Haha. After applying, he did some shoulder and back massage. Timer starts. Keratin was left on my hair for 15mins, then rinsed. Finished with blow dry, and voila! my oh-so-smooth-and-shiny hair!
The whole procedure took less than 45mins. I noticed a certain glow in my hair and its color became more visible. Smells good too! The effect varies depending on the hair type, and is not permanent. For me, it degrades as days passes by. But I hope it somehow helps in strengthening my hair. The recommended frequency of the treatment is one session per week for best results.
