A Fire Incident in Maasin City, Leyte
Just when people are anticipating the bright and festive celebration of Christmas, a devastating fire incident happened in Brgy. Tagnipa, Maasin City, Southern Leyte last December 23, 2023. According to Mrs. Judith Rosolada who witnessed the chaotic moment, the fire spread rapidly which unfortunately took the life of one of the residents who tried to save his belongings. Several houses burned down, properties damaged, and families affected.Two weeks after, January 8, 2024 which also marks the birthday of Señorito Michel Lhuillier, a relief operation was conducted by M Lhuillier. Led by Regional Manager Ma'am Grace L. de Gracia, the team officers distributed essential grocery items such as assorted canned goods, noodles, detergent powder, bath soap, and a sack of 5 kilos of rice to aid the 33 affected households in this time of need.
The help and generosity provided by M Lhuillier didn’t go unnoticed as the residents and barangay officials greatly thanked them for the support and donations received. This incident is just one of the many instances of how M Lhuillier Financial Services Inc. continues to be a bridge in reaching Filipinos, not only through its reliable financial services, but also in prioritizing the people of great need.
